Usage characteristics
Polypropylene fiber anti-corrosion tape is a new type of pollution-free, harmless and environmentally friendly anti-corrosion product. It can be widely used in water supply and drainage in petroleum, natural gas, chemical industry, and urban construction, and external corrosion protection and repair projects of oil, gas, and coal gas transmission steel pipelines and steel buried storage tanks. It is a recommended product designated by the Ministry of Construction and the State Environmental Protection Administration to replace "asphalt glass cloth" and "epoxy coal tar". It has the characteristics of easy construction, impact resistance, aging resistance, tensile resistance, UV radiation resistance and high bonding strength.
The base material of this product is a unique modified polypropylene woven fiber cloth, and butyl rubber modified asphalt is used as the anti-corrosion rubber layer. Its base material is a fiber structure that can effectively resist creep damage caused by soil stress.
Aging tests have shown that its corrosion resistance life is more than 30 years. All test indicators meet and comply with the requirements of SY/TO414-2017 standards, and meet and comply with the US ANSI/AWWAC209-00 and NACEMR0274-95 indicators. It is one of the common options for pipeline cold anti-corrosion construction tapes.

How to use
Steel pipe surface treatment: remove rust, welding slag, burrs, oil, dirt and keep clean and dry. Manual rust removal should reach St3 level, mechanical rust removal should reach Sa2 level and meet the requirements of SYJ4007-86.
Primer: Use a special primer, keep away from fire when using, stir evenly and apply evenly with a clean brush, roller or other mechanical methods. Primer dosage: 12㎡/L for manual application and 20㎡/L for mechanical application
Wait until the primer is dry (usually 5 to 10 minutes later) and then wrap with tape.
Backfilling the trench: After passing the quality inspection and acceptance, the trench can be backfilled.
Transportation and storage:
The tape should be protected from exposure to the sun, rain, crushing and deformation during transportation.
If it is frozen below 5℃ during transportation or storage, it needs to be stored at around 20℃ for 48 hours before construction.
It should be stored in a cool warehouse with a temperature of 5-30℃ and a temperature of less than 75℃ for 12 months and kept away from heat sources and open flames.
